Bridging Cultures Bookshelf: Muslim Journeys

Come check out our display that showcases Copley Library’s grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the American Library Association (ALA):  Bridging Cultures Bookshelf: Muslim Journeys. Copley Library is one of 840 libraries and state humanities councils across the country selected to receive this grant. The program aims to familiarize public audiences in the United States with the people, places, history, faith and cultures of Muslims in the United States and around the world. The display will rotate over the course of the next month covering the following topics:

In addition, there will be a screening of the film, “Islamic Art: Mirror of the Invisible World,” on Monday, October 28th at 6pm in the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice Theater. This event is free and open to the public.
