It’s the second week of the new semester and already, it’s a busy one! In-between classes, quizzes, club meetings, and study sessions, take a look at our library workshops. They’re informal classes where you can bring questions about your papers, pick up some new research skills, and find out ways the library can make your life easier.
There’s a workshop for everyone, but our two most popular are “APA the Easy Way” and the “Citation Clinic.” Don’t worry. They fill up fast, but we offer multiple sessions a semester.
APA the Easy Way
Is APA confusing? Set in your MLA or Chicago ways? Master this citation format and walk away knowing how to write a paper in APA style and how to incorporate cited references.
Find your APA groove at the first workshop on 2/19 from 4-5pm, run by Reference Librarian Hugh Burkhart.
Sometimes citing too hard can hurt your head. We can help. Your library specialists are prepared to diagnose problems with APA, MLA, Chicago Style, and more. Come get spot treatment for all your references.
Ace your midterms with the first workshop on 3/10 from 12:15-1:15pm, run by Reference duo Hugh Burkhart and Martha Adkins.
Sign up for one of these workshops or check the rest of our schedule here: http://www.sandiego.edu/library/services/workshops.php.
